It had a kitchenette (full size refrigerator, stove, & sink). That's it!!!!
Not enough space to list everything. The first room they gave us had a toilet lid that was so loose when I sat down it broke off. I almost fell into the shower. Cheapest seat possible. There were live roaches. There was a dead roach stuck on the wall. Dirty drawers with roach parts in them. Musty-mildewy smell to the carpets in the room and in the halls. There were used artificial fingernails on the kitchen countertop. When I told the lady at the front desk about it she thought that was funny. The glasses, utensils, plates, etc that the hotel provided were not clean. Consistently did not provide enough or any towels, soap, or shampoo. No nonslip surface on bathtub. No safety bars either. Horrible Hotel!!!
Very good service and excellent room. Liked the fact it had full refrigerator in room. Price...can not beat it !!! Nice being close to the beach and a variety of eating facilities. Something for all of us. My granddaughter especially enjoyed it. If we get the chance later this summer ....we will be back!!! Thank you for your kindness!!! Keep up the outstanding work!!! The MIllers, Ecru, Ms.
Room rate was fair and the location was good. The property was quiet at night.
While the room appeared clean, there were roaches in the kitchenette and bathroom. The place wasn't over-run with them, but where you see three or four, you know there are a lot more that aren't out in the open. I'd prefer to not see any roaches in my room.
Pool was not heated and The staff would not come in on the weekend to adjust it. Had to change rooms 3 times in 2 days broken refridgerator and a/c. Staff was rude.
Ashton Inn does not have shuttle to or from airport,,taxie cabs are very pricey 28.00 ea. way
Close to National Naval Aviation Museum, other historic places in Pensacola.
Found a peanut and crumbs on the "comforter strip" on one of the beds. Door had been pried open at least once, if not multiple times--door frame was bent so the deadbolt would not engage. (Non-smoking) Room smelled like someone had been smoking in it. Pools were very small and outdoor pool had leaves in it. Cigarette butts around the pool.
The staff was very pleasant. Very responsive to my needs and respectful (even though I wasn't terribly polite).
The rooms (both) had a sort of musty/stale odor. The first was so bad I had to change rooms. The second was a lot better, but the odor was still present. I have stayed at quite a few hotels/inns in Florida, and unfortunately, the odors are very common. With this being said, I was still a little surprised by it.
the place was nearly new and nice
the price could have been a bit less. the location was not a hot spot, but good for my particular requirement. the place was nice, but the price for the location was a bit high.
Room was extremely noisy. Air-conditioning could not be set to a comfortable temperature.
The bad hotel I was in my life, dirty, no breakfest (totaly different that was write in the internet. I will never more be at ashton
Room wasn't really cleaned that well. But all in all it wa great.
For the money, it was right on. The staff was friendly and the hotel over all served it's purpose, especially since we were on a tight budget.
If I had been staying there more than a weekend, I would have probably switched rooms as the water flow was less than adequate and it dripped all night and there was a strange odor in the room, paint over mold, perhaps? Regardless, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it didn't matter but I did sneeze a lot while we were there.
was very quite at night when I needed to sleep, no little kids running around the hallways making lots of noise. front desk ladies were very helpful in telling us where to visit and with directions.
for the price, should had more then a "grab and go" for the morning. Carpet and tile in our room was very dirty and they did not change our pillow cases even after one got dirty.
room was well appointed with full sized fridge, and kitchenette. we did cook and eat a couple of hot breakfasts and packed picnic lunches there. The indoor pool was great the day it rained and we couldnt go to the beach. The staff quickly came to the rescue when my 2 yr old locked himself in the bathroom in the indoor pool area. The room was very nice for the price - saved 150 per night over the beach hotels. Glad we didn't spring for the beach side hotels since it rained one of the days anyway.
The location was a little dicey and pretty far away from the beach - 30 minutes drive with the traffic. Across the street there was a roudy bar - we could hear people shouting from there. There was a lot of commotion going on with the room across the hall - people going in and out all hours of the night one night. Other than that it was quiet. The beds were hard.
I like the communication of the receptionist when I check in she is very friendly and nice . Thank.
